What was looking to be like a fun Valentine's weekend for us took a sudden turn on Sunday morning when Amalia came down with a fever. We were in the ER all Sunday and then stayed the night at the hospital as they ran some tests on her. Thankfully it looks as though she has a common virus which we are hoping will pass in a week or so. God has been good to show us His protection and healing hand in the past 24 hours.
