Last Days of 4

We are savoring these last days of just time with our boys. Also, Ben and I had the blessing of getting away to Seattle for a day to attend a wedding in one of Seattle's oldest hotels. Not much longer until we meet our little one. I am feeling good, very round, a little anxious for the birth, and very excited.

Go Navy Beat Army!

The boys (daddy and Winchester included) got to have a Christmas camp out last night in our living room. In other news- it was a great day for Navy football... 8 years in a row beating Army!

A Caroling We Go

We had the blessing of going to an old folks home here in town with our church to sing Christmas carols this past Sunday. It was a sweet time and the boys enjoyed both giving attention and receiving attention from such lovely old people.

Tree Hunt

This year was our first year to go and actually chop down a tree from a tree farm. Noah picked about five trees that were his favorite and Hudson just enjoyed weaving in and out of the trees despite the fact he kept tripping over the old stumps in the ground. It was the perfect little boy adventure (actually big boy adventure too because Ben loves any excuse to use his chain saw!).

Splashing Around

Our lovely drainage system in the backyard makes for a perfect pond (quite literally) for the boys to go swimming in... well not quite a swim but certainly a soak! Noah even tried out a little "cliff jumping" this time around. Even though this means muddy and stinky boys, the clean-up is well worth it seeing how much fun they have.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We've had a wonderful past week playing, eating, and thanking God for many blessings. Uncle Kenny and Mollie came to visit again and we so enjoyed our time with them for yet another Thanksgiving together. Can't forget to mention Hudson's first 22 shooting experience... he was very brave and daddy is very proud.

Fall Days

Although chilly and wet out here in Washington, we've had some fun outdoors.... chopping down trees for firewood, nature walks with friends, and walks on the beach. Lots of cider too!
