My parents came for an early birthday celebration this past weekend for Noah (so thankful they are just 6 hours away!). One of Noah's birthday wishes was to eat dinner in Little Italy- seems fitting for a boy born in Napoli seven years ago. After dinner, we had two of the neighbor girls (Lily and Olivia) over for cake and ice cream. So much fun!
Some of you (Shelby), have wondered what our new home looks like. After three months of being here, we are feeling very settled and thankful to be in this place. God has again been faithful to meet our every need and more. From top to bottom: avocados from backyard, a plumeria bush in our yard, Amalia's bedroom (same size as boys'), looking out from laundry room into backyard, kitchen, living room which fans out into the dining space, our bedroom. It's a fun 1950's home with fun little features and Americana charm. We're blessed.
Noah started 1st grade on Tuesday at Pacific Beach Elementary. His teacher is Mr. Gallo. Between full day school and daddy being home, he has a lot of excitement on his plate.
After a long summer away, Ben is finally home and settling in to San Diego life. He and Noah were able to get away for a 24 hour dove hunt in AZ. They had a blast! Ben has one week to play with us until he reports to the USS Topeka.
