A Halloween weekend

Noah was the friendly fireman and Hudson the adorable Dalmatian. We had Ben's cousin and wife over (Tim and Elizabeth Wycoff) for the weekend and enjoyed seeing Jane and Hudson play together.

Fun with Fall

One thing is for sure about living in Washington, there are tons of leaves to rake. We enjoyed a morning of jumping in the piles and learning how to use the rake.

Cousins!

This past week we had Ben's sister and brother-in-law here with us. We spent the week playing and laughing, exploring and being adventurous, and making great memories. Zachary, Noah, and Emma Grace were especially busy having fun and expending lots of energy!

Fall is in the air

We are having beautiful fall days here. Not as much rain as usual so we can actually collect dry leaves this year. It has been such a fun season so far to observe God's creation with Noah- outside we see the leaves changing colors, we smell the pine trees and smoke from wood burning stoves, we see the corn and pumpkins growing at our favorite farms, we taste the pears and apples from the trees in our yard, and we finally get to use our rain boots for stomping in puddles! La bella vita!

Noah turns 4!!!

It is hard to believe that we now have a four year old. Some highlights of Noah's birthday weekend- enjoying a little party Friday night, a Saturday morning out hunting with papa, eating birthday cereal, and playing with his new cap gun. We had so much fun watching him take delight in the joys of having a birthday. Little ones are a joy!

End of Summer with the Selph Family

We enjoyed a two week stay with Ben's family in Atlanta and Greenville, SC in early September. It was full of cousin play time, Grandma's great cooking, and staying up late.

Over the Labor Day weekend Grandpa and Grandma Howe were able to come. We had a great time being together.

Bremerton Summer

Being at home this summer has been incredibly satisfying. Ben has had a relaxed and "normal" schedule this past month and has been able to enjoy summer evenings with us. Noah is enjoying his third summer of berry picking while Hudson has just discovered that berries are bliss! We picked the one and only peach from our peach tree (too much rain here for these poor peaches!). We took the boys to the county fair and rodeo and had a ton of fun.

Goin' Crabbin'

We spent a day with good friends on their boat exploring, skiing, and crabbing. It was such a beautiful and perfect Puget Sound day and the boys had a spectacular time.

Noah Benjamin is fast approaching his 4th birthday already. He's a one-of-a-kind, bright-faced, and vibrant little boy. Ben and Grandpa Selph took him shooting for his first time this past July. It was quite a thrill for him and his papa! Little Hudson Haddon is 14 months old and full of smiles and babbles. Not walking yet, but mommy is quite fine with that.
