The Egg Hunt!

Our egg hunt this year was with some dear friends from church, the Wood family. All five boys were buzzing around like bees on our lawn, searching for eggs, which was then followed up by a major sugar high.

Easter Morning

We are loving the traditions that this time of year brings, especially with our little ones. Most importantly, it was another wonderful season of communicating the gospel of our resurrected Savior to our kids.

Sunny Days

We are finally seeing the sun and hitting temperatures in the mid 50's. I couldn't help but snap some photos of Amalia in front of our tulips with the sun shining bright a couple days ago. She is pretty good at posing too :).

Spring Days

From top to bottom: Noah's first piano recital! Here he is playing a duet with his teacher, "Our Clever Pup". He played a solo piece next, "Rain, Rain". Very sweet. Next, Huds and Amalia pounding out a duet together and having a ball. Grandma Howe came for a short visit which is always a treat. And last, we used our neighbor's riding mower (due to our broken lawn mower) and Amalia enjoyed getting the job done with daddy.

Just Chillin'

This was a ripple effect event- first, it was Amalia who was enjoying an evening in her Huggies crawling around upstairs. Then, it was Hudson who can't stand having dirty or wet pants on, especially after a meal. Of course by then, Noah just couldn't stand it that his sibblings were enjoying some freedom of expression time so he joined in the fun. These are sweet days.

Weekend Away

Here we enjoyed some Naples Pizza at a pizzeria in downtown Seattle.

A Spring Break Weekend

We kicked off Noah's Spring Break with a couple nights away at Lewis-McChord joint Army/Air Force Base. We enjoyed some bowling, lots of cartoons, bike rides, and fun food.

14 months old

Sweet and very happy little girl!

Friends

We are thankful for friends. From top to bottom: Hellen is our new friend who has been attending our church. She has adopted N, H, and A and we have adopted her as "Grammy". She is so sweet to us. Next, the Woods boys are Navy/church friends. The boys enjoyed time together at the Naval Undersea Museum about 15 minutes from our house. Last, our dearest friends that we have known the longest since living here, Madelyn and Jackson. After several days of tons of rain, our tractor pit in the backyard became a tractor pond. So much fun!

First Stitches

Hudson found himself in the ER this past Sunday night after cutting his hand on some glass he found in the backyard of our friend's house. All in all he was a little trooper and did pretty well getting his stitches in. He is on the mend and we are thankful to God that it was only a minor cut.

Saturday Night Fever

We found ourselves in some lovely 70's attire this past Saturday for a Navy function we attended. We were sort of dragging our feet at the thought of a 70's disco dinner (and to go from our totally conservative/preppy look to 70's disgusting look was quite a stretch for us) but we did have some fun and laughs at the totally ridiculous costumes people had on.

President's Day Sledding Adventure

We were thankful that Ben was home and able to have President's Day off. We drove up to Hurricane Ridge where the snow was amazingly deep and perfect for sledding. The boys (especially Noah) were thrilled!

Little Happy Girl

Just a few of Amalia around the house. Not walking yet, but mommy is just fine with that.

Caught!

It's been one of those days. Hudson was being too big for his britches this morning and while "wiping" managed to use about a half roll of t.p. in the toilet... and you know the rest of the story. Amalia, little sweet baby girl, got caught licking on both the toilet brush and a dog bone. Nice.
